Black Vulcanizing cement

Black Vulcanizing cement

Our Black Vulcanizing Cement (BVC) is a high-performance adhesive formulated for use in the tire retreading process. This special rubber compound dissolved in a solvent is used to bond the buffed casing of an old tire to the new tread rubber. The cement is activated by heat during the retreading process, creating a durable, high-strength bond essential for a high-quality retreaded tire.

Form: Liquid adhesive, typically applied with a brush or roller
Color: Black (standard color, designed to match tire rubber)
Composition: Rubber-based compound dissolved in a solvent
Viscosity: Medium to high viscosity for controlled application
Bonding Strength: Strong, durable adhesion designed to withstand high pressures and temperatures
Curing Requirements: Requires heat activation (typically 120-160°C) to cure and achieve full adhesion
Drying Time: Dries to a tacky, adhesive state within 10-20 minutes; fully cured after heating during the retreading process
Shelf Life: Typically 12-18 months (when stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight)
Storage Conditions: Store in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry environment to maintain optimal adhesive properties
